This is a fairly biased bibliography for the most part. There are different understandings of evidence-based practice and the book listed here tend to be focused on the broader conceptualization which is somewhat critical of the previously popular empirically supported treatment movement. My person belief that evidence-based practice should embrace broad conceptions of how therapy is evaluated, as well as my belief that therapies should be evaluated in their own context (i.e., it is not appropriate to evaluated CBT and psychodynamic therapies the same way) is reflected in the books chosen for inclusion.
