The purpose of this assignment is to increase students’ awareness of how many individuals of a diverse background have often not been included in the history of psychology despite significant contributions and to increase awareness of issues of diversity. Students will read one of the following books and write post a reaction to it in the course community on Scholar 360. The post should be a minimum of 2-3 paragraphs in length and demonstrate that 1) the book has been read, 2) the significance of the book, and 3) how the book impacted you. You should also be prepared to discuss the book you read in class.
